Marquesha's Trip - Part I: Minivanning

What better way to cruise the crazy streets of PA and New Jersey than in a minivan?
Yeah, that was not our first thought when we realized we'd have to rent one to fit everyone.  I think Colleen was horrified by the idea of driving one, and the rest of us couldn't stop laughing every time we thought about it.  The real question: How in the world had we lived this long, with such a sizable family, and not had a minivan roadtrip?!  Let the adventure begin.

Once we figured out all the buttons, including one that looks like a spaceship ready to launch, we were good to go - seatbelts, smiles, and all!

It took awhile to get the hang of the sliding doors and the size of parking space we required, but our lovely mode of transportation grew on us. With the flip of a lever, the middle seats promptly folded up on themselves and out of the way - so quickly, in fact, that at least one person was startled by it every time :)

I wanted nothing more than to draw stick figures of our crew on the back window, so we'd be legit minivanners.
We couldn't find something safe to write on a rental with, but we did find flip-flop stickers meant for ID'ing everyone inside.  Good stuff.
