This year, our car club chose a few semi-local shows to try out for the first time. Mid-June found us cruising to Dayton, WA for their popular All Wheels Weekend. We drove the '49 GMC, complete with our portable "speedometer" ;)
There were so many events listed for Saturday, we decided to go Friday night, pulling the old camper so we could enjoy the full day and travel back the day after. Ours was a head-turning campsite alongside all the huge motor homes with their showers and tv's and even garages.
Saturday was full to the brim with things to see and do. It really is no wonder they call it ALL Wheels Weekend with the car show, lawn mower races, tricycle "drag" races, speeder rail car rides, dirt track races,
and demolition derby. What a day!
