Andy, Beth, and I went to 'the lake place' (a mobile home community right on CDA lake) for the holiday weekend. We had a great time watching the community parade (check out all the candy Beth got!), competing in a sand sculpture contest on the beach (we won 1st place), and digging for star garnets at Emerald Creek (a LOT of work!).Faith's sister, Dorothy and her husband Jerry were there from California, and they were a lot of fun to get to know and share all the experiences with.
