We were lucky enough to spend some downright quality time with Margaret, Aimee, and the four adorable little Heitmanns. Ayden got to come up a day earlier with Margaret for a sleepover, and we put them to work building office furniture and then headed out for a fun letter-hunting photo walk.
Ayden took it all quite seriously and could really pick out those letters! We finished the night with a YouTube marathon of PianoGuys videos, ending with Cello Wars of course. It was fun to get that extra time with Ayden - He is such a great kid!
Saturday morning, we went to the Farmer's Market and met up with Aimee and the others, then returned home with cherries, cucumbers, and...a Slip 'n Slide!
It was a blue sky day, perfect for hours of carefree playing.

Meysa and Lauryn literally latched onto Andy, and gave him quite the challenge walking around!
While Ayden was playing badminton game #52 (maybe a slight exaggeration..), I took the other kids for a wagon cruise down Main Street, or "the highway" as Lauryn called it. Meysa was the driver and did an awesome job of keeping our wobbly-wheeled ride on the road. Too much fun :)
We were resting on the deck when I looked over to see Wyatt working intently to attach our tow rope to my Model A chassis in the driveway.
He really wanted it to move!
If he can't pull it out, he's just gonna have to drive it out!
And enlist the help of his sisters...
The poor flat-tired ride would not budge, despite all of their best efforts.

We had time to make some personal-size fruit pizzas before they headed back to Lewiston. As is his nature, Wyatt was ready to jump in and help me shape and bake the cookies.

Then everyone got to decorate their own with all sorts of delicious fresh fruit.
We sincerely had an amazing day with this crowd - soaking up the time with them until the next chance we have for a visit.
